MAT / FOUNDATION / FLOW / FLY
WE OFFER A VARIETY OF REFORMER CLASSES, 7 DAYS A WEEK
Whether you are a beginner, want to maintain or step up your fitness routine – our variety classes cater for all levels of experience and ability.
Be sure you start at the appropriate level and work your way up.
Mat Pilates
The Mat class uses props such as toning balls, magic circle, bands or foam roller to help you strengthen, stretch an release. The Mat class provides a full-body workout suitable for all fitness levels. Modifications are happily provided to decrease or increase the level of challenge.
Reformer FOUNDATION
The FOUNDATION small group class is the starting point for first-timers on the Reformer or as a refresher. During this class, the instructor will explain Pilates terminology, and guide you in performing exercises with good alignment, stability and the correct breathing pattern. The foundation class will help you gain confidence and move tension-free in a group setting.
Reformer FLOW
During our FLOW Reformer class, the emphasis is on exercises flowing into one another with more intensity and coordination. We provide progressions to ensure everyone feels challenged within their own ability. With the use of props like the magic circle, weights, stability balls and resistance bands, we keep it challenging for both the body and mind!
Reformer FLY
The FLY class is more challenging! It provides a cardio focused work-out while incorporating all the benefits of Reformer Pilates.
We often use the jump board or trampoline, blending the elements of pilates, dance, cardio and strength training with low impact on the joints. Expect an increased heart rate and working up a sweat after taking this class!!
Private Sessions
Whether you want to focus on your posture, are recovering from an injury or an athlete with a specific goal, we recommend taking Private sessions. Our instructors are qualified to use a variety of apparatus (Stability Chair, Tower and Reformer) which provide a greater variety of exercises (including rehabilitative work) which will help you reach your personal goals quicker.
Pre and Postnatal Pilates
Pre and postnatal Members are welcome to attend our MAT or FOUNDATION Reformer classes, Private Sessions or Private Small Group Sessions. These classes will help you feel strong, energised and connected during every stage of your pregnancy and beyond. Please let your Instructor know if you are pregnant or postnatal. It is important to get clearance from your doctor prior to your first class.
