A muscle imbalance in one area of the body may result in a limitation or misalignment elsewhere in the body. She designs her reformer programs in a way to mobilise the body. The focus is to strengthen long and weak muscles and stretching short and tight muscles to alleviate muscle imbalances that lead to compensations and more permanent misalignments.
The reformer focus on strengthening of the deeper stabilising core muscles. It helps teaches the clients how to activate core muscles by incorporating the correct breathing pattern.
